Published by Morris Visitor Publications, the world’s largest producer of visitor information, IN London Magazine is a mainstay publication in luxury hotels across the capital. When it came to creating a fittingly luxe iPad app to complement both the English and multi-lingual editions, MVP came to Rhubarb Fool. This app is distributed to guests at over 100 high-end hotels in London. The stated objective was to “build a fully interactive iPad magazine app which could convert text and imagery into rich media for a fully immersive media experience”. The fact that we continue to produce these apps to this day speaks for itself: We went above and beyond in achieving that aim.
Royal Hawaiian Center
This luxury shopping destination in Hawaii requested a fully interactive iPad app to support its “R” Magazine, and as with our IN London apps, we aimed to create an immersive (and comprehensive ) media experience.
The app showcased the many facets of this popular destination for high-spending Chinese and Korean visitors and featured interactive maps for ease of navigation around the mall. It used ‘Multi-Lingual Touch Button’ technology so that users could switch between English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages. The customer was satisfied that the objective was not only met, but “expectations in terms of quality were exceeded”.
